Marit Moi Jochemsen

Marit Moi Jochemsen is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Health and Nursing Sciences, University of Agder. She graduated as a nurse from VID Bergen (formerly Diakonissehjemmets Høgskole) in 2007, earned a Master's in International Health from Uppsala University in 2010, and obtained further education in Multicultural Health Care from Oslo Met.

Her clinical nursing experience spans pediatric wards at Haukeland University Hospital, detoxification units for drug addicts at Oslo University Hospital (Ullevål), and the venereological department (Olafiaklinikken) at Oslo University Hospital, with a focus on HIV prevention among migrants and vulnerable groups. She has also worked internationally, including a year as an associate professor at Libyan International Medical University.

Her research interests include global health and internationalization, multicultural health work, and health promotion and preventive nursing. She is part of the ProfHealth research group, which focuses on interdisciplinary professional research within health.
