Marisa Pereyra is a Professor of Global Languages at Immaculata University, affiliated with the Department of Arts, Languages and Letters. She teaches courses ranging from beginner Spanish to advanced topics in Latin American literature and culture.

Her publications demonstrate consistent engagement with utopian literary modes across decades, analyzing how narratives address political struggle, environmental degradation, and gender dynamics. Themes of memory, identity, and desire recur in her scholarship.
