Dr. Marisa Carvalho is an Assistant Professor at Universidade Católica Portuguesa and researcher at the Research Centre for Human Development. Holding dual PhDs in Psychology (University of Minho, 2013) and Educational Sciences (UCP, 2020), she coordinates national initiatives on inclusive education.
Her work addresses teacher attitudes toward inclusion, strategic school planning, and digital adaptations during COVID-19. She developed assessment tools for early math abilities and contributes to European projects like Católica in! and CLIL Innovation Lab.
Consultancy includes policy design for the Porto Municipality and guidelines for the Portuguese Ministry of Education.
