Marios Michael

Marios Michael is a Humboldt Fellow and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter (MPSD) in Hamburg, Germany, affiliated with the Center for Free-Electron Laser Science (CFEL) within the Theory Department.

His research spans Theoretical Physics, Laser Physics, and Quantum Mechanics with emphasis on Ultrafast Science and Condensed Matter systems. His work focuses on theoretical modeling of quantum dynamics in materials and free-electron laser interactions, contributing to advanced understanding of light-matter phenomena at femtosecond timescales.

Dr. Michael holds the Humboldt Fellowship, a prestigious award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation recognizing internationally outstanding researchers.
