Marion Smits

Marion Smits is a Professor of Neuroradiology at Erasmus MC - University Medical Centre Rotterdam and holds an honorary appointment at Delft University of Technology (Faculty of Applied Sciences) and a Medical Delta Professorship. Her work bridges neuroimaging research and clinical practice, with a focus on neuro-oncology at the Erasmus MC Cancer Institute.

• Research emphasizes non-invasive in vivo visualization of brain function and microstructure under physiological/pathological conditions
• Active in open science, including the Erasmus MC Glioma Database (2021) with imaging and genetic data from 700+ glioma patients
