Mario Vašak

Prof. Mario Vašak is a Full Professor at the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), leading the Laboratory for Renewable Energy Systems (LARES). His research focuses on renewable energy systems, model predictive control (MPC), energy management in buildings and microgrids, battery storage optimization, and smart grid technologies. He holds a PhD and has extensive expertise in control engineering and automation.
