Mario Longtin is a Professor in the Department of French Studies at The University of Western Ontario. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh (2001) and specializes in Medieval French Literature, Philology, and the History of Theatre. His research focuses on manuscript studies, dramatic text transmission, and 19th-century Canadian cultural archives. He directs the theatre troupe L’On Donne, producing classical and modern French plays since 2004.
