Mario Diaz is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in plucked strings and voice, serving as Lecturer in the Music Department at Reed College with joint faculty appointments at Portland State University and Willamette University. He directs the PSU Guitar Series (recipient of the 2020 Philanthropic Cultivation Award) and leads the guitar program at Oregon's Young Musicians & Artists summer institute. Diaz maintains an active performance career and private teaching studio.
