Prof. Mario De Salvo is an Associate Professor of Geometry at the University of Messina, affiliated with the Department of Chemical, Biological, Pharmaceutical and Environmental Sciences. He holds a Mathematics degree from the University of Messina (1977, cum laude). His academic roles include Associate Professorships in Geometry and Mathematical Institutions since 1995. He is a member of the Italian Mathematicians Union (UMI) and GNSAGA (section 4).
Research focuses on combinatorial structures, hyperstructures (e.g., hypergroups, hyperrings), binary multivocal systems, graph theory, and finite geometries.
