Mario Berta

Mario Berta is a Professor of Physics at RWTH Aachen University’s Institute for Quantum Information, with an honorary Visiting Reader position at Imperial College London’s Department of Computing. His research focuses on mathematical aspects of quantum information science, including quantum communication theory, cryptography, and algorithms. He leads a group funded by the ERC Starting Grant QEntropy, exploring entropy’s role in quantum information.
