Marina Kiroudi

Marina Kiroudi is a Scientific Associate at the Department of Religious Education, Religious Adult Education and Homiletics at the University of Bonn's Catholic Theological Faculty. Her career includes roles as an Orthodox advisor, theologian, and educator across institutions like the Association of Christian Churches (ACK) and Venice International University. She holds a theology doctorate from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (2020) and completed extensive theological studies at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (1997–2005).

Her research focuses on Orthodox religious pedagogy, interconfessional cooperation, and identity formation processes. Key projects include advising on DFG's 'Engagierte Ökumene' (2024–2026) and the Argelander Starter-Kit Grant on diaspora identity (2023–2025). She is affiliated with organizations like the European Forum for Teachers of Religious Education (EFTRE) and chairs the Executive Board of Children as Participants in Theological Research (ChaPTheR).
