Marina Gil Calvo

Marina Gil Calvo is a permanent faculty member at the University of León, affiliated with the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and the Department of Physical Education and Sports. Her research focuses on biomechanics, human movement analysis, sports performance, and health-related applications.

Her doctoral work examined the biomechanical effects of prefabricated vs. personalized sports insoles during running fatigue. She is actively involved in the AMREDyS research group (Human Movement Analysis, Sports Performance, and Health), contributing to interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of sports science and health.
