Marina Garbellotti is an Associate Professor at the University of Verona's Department of History, within the School of Cultures and Civilizations. Her research focuses on modern and contemporary history, particularly the history of poverty, charitable institutions, family structures, and gender studies. She is a member of the Società italiana delle storiche and leads interdisciplinary research groups, including studies on the historical archives of the San Giacomo alla Tomba psychiatric hospital and the representation of women’s fashion in Renaissance and Baroque periods.
