Marije Kanis

Marije Kanis is a Lecturer/researcher at the Faculty of Digital Media and Creative Industries (FDMCI) at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Her work focuses on human-centered design in digital media, particularly addressing challenges faced by older adults, caregivers, and sustainable practices. She actively explores data physicalization to make complex information tangible and accessible.

Research Interests: Marije investigates how technology can support aging populations, informal caregivers, and sustainable living. Her projects often involve co-creative methodologies to ensure user-centered solutions. Key areas include:
