Marija Todorovska is an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Philosophy within the Faculty of Philosophy at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, North Macedonia. Her academic work focuses on bioethics, public health ethics, and the intersection of law, science, and philosophy. She has contributed to interdisciplinary research bridging theoretical philosophy with practical ethical dilemmas in healthcare and public policy.
Her research interests include integrative bioethics, the ethical dimensions of sports, and the role of emotivism in bioethical decision-making. She has edited thematic issues on bioethics and public health in academic journals.
Dr. Todorovska’s publications analyze global bioethics frameworks such as UNESCO’s declarations, the ethical challenges in public health governance, and the philosophical foundations of medical research ethics. Her work often addresses how legal positivism and natural law theories interact in bioethical disputes.
She has presented at international conferences including the Losinj Days of Bioethics and the Southeast European Bioethics Forum, focusing on topics like the authority of law in bioethics, principles of justice in research ethics, and the societal implications of emerging biotechnologies.
