Marija Janjić is a Principal Research Fellow at the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković", a National Institute of the Republic of Serbia affiliated with the University of Belgrade. Her research focuses on reproductive endocrinology, neuroendocrinology, and neuroinflammation, with a particular emphasis on experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis.
- Education: BSc in Biology (2005, University of Novi Sad); PhD in Biochemistry (2012, University of Novi Sad)
- International Experience: Visiting Fellow at NIH (2014-2017); Postdoctoral Fellow at Children's National Medical Center (2020-2021)
She has received multiple awards, including FEBS/IUBMB Young Scientist Forum grants (2009, 2010) and Ministry of Science scholarships (2006-2008). Marija contributes to interdisciplinary projects such as the STRIMHealth and JDS5 water monitoring initiatives.
