Marija Hruška, PhD is a researcher at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Economics & Business, affiliated with the Statistics Faculty. Her research focuses on macroeconomic dynamics, including economic policy uncertainty, business cycle coherence, and zombie company impacts in Central/Eastern Europe.
Her recent work analyzes consumer confidence indicators and unemployment determinants in the EU, combining traditional economic analysis with machine learning applications in policy modeling.
