Marieke Helmich is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oslo's Department of Psychology, focusing on idiographic change in mental health using dynamical systems theory. Her work emphasizes early warning signals in depression and the application of Experience Sampling Methodology.
Education: B.A. in Liberal Arts & Science (University College Utrecht, 2013) with Psychology and Philosophy minors; MScRes in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience (Maastricht University, 2015). Completed a PhD in Medical Sciences at the University of Groningen (2022 cum laude).
Research interests include psychopathology dynamics, depression recovery trajectories, and methodological advancements in ecological momentary assessment. She collaborates with the COPE Research team and leads the TRANS-ID project investigating personalized early warning signals.
