Marie Singer

Marie Singer is a researcher at the Chair of Mineralogy at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), located at the GeoZentrum Nordbayern. Her work focuses on the carbonation of Portland cement, studying the influence of carbonated cement on hydration processes and the effects of additives in cement systems.

Marie's research contributes to sustainable construction practices by exploring chemical processes in cement materials. She has published recent work on wet carbonation mechanisms in the Journal of CO2 Utilization, utilizing δ13C isotope tracking for reaction insights.
