Marie Rask Bjerre Odgaard is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Anthropology, University of Toronto, focusing on sociocultural anthropology in the Middle East. Her work intersects art, activism, gender, and queer ethics in Jordan.

- Queer ethics and artistic approaches in Jordan
- Playfulness and reparation in anthropological practice
- Phenomenology and feminist/queer scholarship
- Interdisciplinary methodologies informed by art
Her publications examine ethical life in Amman through artistic attunement, affective relationships, and in-between spaces of possibility. Current projects include the book manuscript A Staircase between the Sun and the Moon.
