Marie-Paule Cani is a Professor of Computer Science at École Polytechnique since May 2017, previously affiliated with Grenoble Institute of Technology (INP) and INRIA until 2017. She leads the STREAM research team (Structure Representation and Extraction for computer Animation and geometric Modeling) and was head of the IMAGINE project team (joint LJK/INRIA). Her work bridges geometric modeling, computer animation, and intuitive 3D content creation methods.
