Marie Mattisson is a Lecturer at Linköping University (LIU), affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and the Department of Nursing and Reproductive Health (ORH). She also contributes to the Department of Health, Medicine and Care (HMV). Her research focuses on telephone nursing interactions, caller satisfaction, and heart failure management in primary care settings. She teaches in the Nursing Program and coordinates the District Nursing Program.
Her research explores telehealth innovations, including remote monitoring technologies for cardiac patients, and evaluates communication strategies in telenursing. She has contributed to the development and validation of assessment tools like the Telenursing Interaction and Satisfaction Scale. Her work emphasizes improving patient care through optimized telehealth interactions and evidence-based nursing practices.
Marie has published in journals such as the European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing, Patient Education and Counseling, and Journal of Clinical Nursing. Her studies address both clinical and methodological aspects of telehealth, including timing analysis in nursing calls and cross-sectional surveys on satisfaction factors.
