Marie Mardal

Marie Mardal is an Associate Professor in Forensic Toxicology at the Department of Forensic Medicine, University of Copenhagen, and a Researcher at the Arctic University of Norway. She holds a dual position with 50% appointment at each institution.

She is the Principal Investigator of the TROMBOLOME project (€1.4 million funded by the Norwegian Research Council), which aims to improve data workflows for large-scale untargeted metabolome data by building an SQL database of metabolome data from biobank samples and combining biochemical insights with health registry data for cardiovascular health.
