Marie Luise Voß is a doctoral candidate and research assistant at the University of Music and Theatre Rostock. Her work focuses on musicology, particularly intersections of music and film, exile studies, and Viennese music history.
- Bachelor's in Violin (2017–2021)
- Master's in Musicology (2021–2023), specializing in film music
Her research areas include queer and gender studies in adventure film music, American exile music settings, and editorial philology of works by Erich Wolfgang Korngold.
She contributes to the Erich Wolfgang Korngold Werkausgabe project and is currently pursuing her dissertation on 'Vienna Music Settings in American Exile: Composing as Biographical Reflection.'
