Marie Lueth

Marie Lueth is a researcher at the Department of Microtechnology and Medical Device Technology at the Technical University of Munich. She holds an M.Sc. in Medical Engineering and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. Since December 2024, she has been working at MiMed, where she supervises courses in Movement Technique (BWT) and Modeling (MOD).

Her research focuses on the intersection of mechanical engineering and medical device technology, particularly in additive manufacturing applications for medical devices and robotic systems. Her work bridges theoretical design principles with practical manufacturing techniques, contributing to advancements in medical robotics and device development.

Her publications demonstrate expertise in applying design libraries and additive manufacturing techniques to mechanical systems, with particular emphasis on precision fitting of printed components and gearbox mechanisms. These works reflect the department's broader research interests in medical robotics, surgical devices, and additive manufacturing applications.

As part of the MiMed research group under Prof. Tim C. Lueth, she contributes to various projects including Rescue Robotics, Medical Devices development, BioRobotics, and Additive Design and Manufacturing initiatives.
