Marie-Luce Taupin

Marie-Luce Taupin is a Professor at Université d'Évry and a member of the Évry Mathematics and Modelling Laboratory (LaMME), which is affiliated with Université Paris-Saclay, CNRS, INRAE, and ENSIIE. She specializes in advanced statistical methods applied to life sciences and healthcare, with significant contributions to biostatistics, survival analysis, and high-dimensional data analysis.

Her educational background includes a scientific baccalaureate, a DEUG in mathematics applied to social sciences from Université de Nanterre (1989), undergraduate and master's degrees in mathematics from Université Paris-Sud (now Université Paris-Saclay), a DEA in stochastic modelling (1994), and a PhD thesis on models with errors in variables (1998).

Professor Taupin has taught from undergraduate through master's levels, currently directing the 2nd year master's degree in Data Science in Health, Insurance and Finance. She previously led the 1st year master's in Mathematics in Interaction (2018-2023) and has implemented educational initiatives focused on professional integration through the PPEI program.
