Marie Lefevre

Marie Lefevre is a Lecturer in the Computer Science Department at Claude Bernard University Lyon 1 and an active member of the TWEAK research team at LIRIS laboratory (UMR 5205). She holds multiple leadership roles including Head of the M2 Artificial Intelligence program, President of ATIEF, and co-leadership of the TWEAK team.

Her research specializes in Computer-Assisted Learning Environments with a focus on:

• AI-driven personalization of learning
• Knowledge modeling for teacher assistance
• Educational data mining and experience trace analysis
• Development of adaptive learning systems (e.g., PERSUA2 model)

She has led projects like PERLEA, AMBRE, and HUBBLE that bridge AI techniques with educational practice.

In teaching, she coordinates courses in algorithms, programming (C/Scheme/Prolog), and AI fundamentals. She developed the ASKER platform for semi-automatic exercise generation and integrates her research into pedagogical practice through projects like CLAIRE and CoExo.

Administratively, she directs the AI Master's program and serves on departmental councils. Her extensive scientific service includes:
