Marie-Laure Potet is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Grenoble Alpes, affiliated with Grenoble INP and the VERIMAG research laboratory. Her work focuses on cybersecurity, formal verification, and fault injection analysis in embedded systems. She leads research on secure compilation, vulnerability detection, and countermeasure design against hardware and software attacks.
Her research projects include the PEPR Cybersécurité/ARSENE and SECUREVAL initiatives, aiming to enhance security evaluation for embedded systems. She has developed tools like FISSC and Lazart for fault injection analysis and secure code validation. Her contributions span academic conferences (ESOP, CAV, FDTC) and industry collaborations through projects like SACADE and SECURIoT.
Potet's work bridges formal methods with practical security applications, emphasizing compositional refinement and tool-based verification. Her lab's activities include analyzing software robustness, developing secure protocols, and advancing methodologies for liability and accountability in software systems.
