Marie Kluge is a doctoral candidate and research associate at the Chair for English and American Cultural Studies, Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg. She holds an MA in Literary Studies (English) from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and a BA in English, American, and Romance Studies from Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg.

Her research focuses on crime fiction, gender dynamics, and Victorian literature, with a particular emphasis on the role of women investigators in anglophone literature and culture. She explores how gender norms influence literary and cultural canons.
Marie Kluge has co-authored a forthcoming publication on L.T. Meade's crime fiction and its gendered representations. She is affiliated with the German Association for the Study of British Cultures (BritCult) and the DACH Victorianists Network.
