Marie-Christine Clemente

Dr Marie-Christine Clemente is a Lecturer in the Department of French Studies at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics. Her research focuses on 20th- and 21st-century French literature and culture, particularly examining memory and autobiography in autofictions (Bauby, Beigbeder, Nothomb) and narratives of schizophrenia and dementia (De Vigan, Ernaux). She has published articles on literary representations of the 9/11 attacks and co-edited the volume Le Coeur dans tous ses états....
