Marie CORNU is a Research Professor at the CNRS and affiliated with the Institut des Sciences Sociales du Politique (ISP). She serves as a member of the Conseil d'administration at ENS Paris-Saclay. Her research focuses on heritage law, cultural property, and commons governance.
Education: PhD in law (1994) from the University of Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, with a thesis on cultural property law published by Bruylant.
Research Contributions: Launched the Mémoloi program (2009) on legal frameworks for cultural heritage, co-founded the GDRI on comparative heritage law (1999), and pioneered work on commons culminating in the Dictionnaire des biens communs (2017).

- Prix Dupin (2001-2002) for Droit, œuvres d’art et musée
- Prix Durieux for comparative copyright law work
