Marie Bassano

Marie Bassano is a Professor at Toulouse Capitole University, affiliated with the Toulouse Center for the History of Law and Political Ideas (CTHDIP). She previously served as Professor at the University of Auvergne (2012–2015) and Lecturer at Paris-Descartes University (2009–2012). Her research focuses on the history of law and institutions, particularly medieval legal education, Roman law, canon law, and legal translation.
