Marianne Vogsen

Marianne Vogsen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Research, University of Southern Denmark, affiliated with the Research Unit of Oncology (Odense). She is also associated with KI and OUH. Her work lies at the intersection of oncology and nuclear medicine, with a strong focus on breast cancer imaging and response assessment.

The most recent publications highlight a trend toward using FDG-PET/CT as a superior modality over conventional CT in monitoring metastatic breast cancer, with demonstrable impacts on survival and treatment decisions. She also contributes to understanding tumor heterogeneity through liquid biopsy, exploring clonal evolution and circulating tumor DNA dynamics in metastatic settings.

Marianne Vogsen has led and contributed to multiple clinical research projects, including multicenter trials and prospective studies.
