Marian Florin Busuioc

Marian Florin Busuioc is an Associate Professor at the Romanian-American University, affiliated with the School of Trade and the Tourism – Services Department. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies (2009) and has 27 years of professional experience in tourism and services sectors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism from Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies (1996)
• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Commercial Management from "Dimitrie Cantemir" Christian University (1996)
• In-depth studies in "Clean technologies for sustainable development" from UNESCO Department – Environmental Energy, Polytechnic University of Bucharest (2000)

His research interests focus on Tourism Management and Marketing, with an emphasis on sustainable practices and cultural tourism. He has authored numerous scientific articles, research studies, and specialized textbooks.

Scientific awards and certifications include:

• Certificate of graduation as "Tourism Manager" and "Hotel Director" (CEDES Research and Development, 2009)
• Project Manager and Trainer certifications (CEDES, 2010–2011)
• Certificate as "Guide of cultural tourism in Bucharest" (Association "Atheneum" with CEDES, 2013)

He is a member of professional associations such as the Association of Journalists and Writers of Tourism in Romania, National Association for the Quality of Services, and Romanian Distribution Committee.
