Marian CHATENET is an EX1 Professor at Grenoble INP - UGA and Scientific Director of Hynology. He co-chairs the 'Mobility Applications' axis of the CNRS FRH2 Hydrogen Federation. His roles include teaching electrochemistry, physical/analytical chemistry, and energy conversion/storage at LEPMI.

Research focuses on interfacial electrochemistry, electrocatalysis mechanisms, and durability of fuel cell electrodes. Techniques include FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, and DEMS. Key areas include non-PGM catalysts and alkaline environment reactions.
Collaborations span industries (Air Liquide, Michelin) and academic partners like LEMTA (University of Lorraine) and UC Irvine. He has received over 11,000 citations with an h-index of 60.
