PD Dr. Marialuisa Cavelti is the Head of Research/Group Leader at the University Hospital of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, University of Bern. Her academic focus is on clinical research aimed at improving mental healthcare for young people with severe mental disorders such as borderline personality disorder (BPD) and psychosis. She emphasizes collaboration with patients, families, and clinicians, and specializes in applying digital technologies like ecological momentary assessment and intervention to enhance traditional clinical services. Her work addresses gaps in current care, particularly through transdiagnostic approaches.
