Maria Yareli Delgado

Dr. Maria Yareli Delgado serves as the Senior Director of Hispanic Serving Institution-Initiatives at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), a Research Associate at UTA's Center for Mexican American Studies, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. With over fifteen years of administrative experience in academic affairs and student services across Tarrant County College and Dallas College, she bridges leadership and scholarship in higher education.

Analysis of her 2019-2025 publications reveals concentrated investigation into Early College High Schools and Latinx identity development through qualitative methodologies. Recurring themes include academic validation processes, equity-minded institutional design, and the sociocultural impacts of educational pipelines—primarily contextualized within Texas community college ecosystems and emphasizing student voice in identity negotiation.
