- Aging and physical activity (e.g., high-intensity interval training for older adults)
- Gendered experiences of health and rehabilitation (e.g., maternal morbidity after perineal trauma)
- Youth-friendly health services in Sweden's northern regions
- Interprofessional collaboration in physical activity prescription
- Health equity for marginalized populations (e.g., COPD patients, rural youth)
Recent publications highlight grounded theory and qualitative methodologies applied to aging, gendered health disparities, and digital health interventions. While no explicit scientific awards are mentioned, her work on cross-boundary collaboration and health policy frameworks underscores her policy impact.
She collaborates extensively across disciplines, particularly in projects involving school nurses, youth clinics, and chronic disease management. Her work often addresses systemic inequities and the intersection of biology, gender, and social context in health outcomes.
