Dr. Maria Vecchio holds dual roles as Associate Professor of History and Academic Success Coach at Felician University, where she has served since 1985 and 2017 respectively. She earned her BS (1970), MA (1972), and PhD (1976) in History from Fordham University. Her expertise spans European history from the French Revolution, women’s history, Latin American studies, and U.S. history from the Revolutionary era through the Cold War.

- Moderated Model UN (2004–2014)
- Contributed to major textbooks like Voyages in World History (2010) and World Civilization: A Brief History (1992)
Teaches courses including The Age of Nationalism, Women in History, and The Renaissance. Her research focuses on Republican ideology in Revolutionary-era New York and honors program development in higher education. Former adjunct roles included Pace University, Fordham University, and other institutions.
