Maria Sanchez Calvo

Maria Sanchez Calvo is a Professor at the Catholic University of Ávila, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities and Education. She is a member of the TiDEE.rg (Technology, Instruction and Design in Engineering and Education Research Group). Her academic qualifications include a PhD from the University of Salamanca (2023) on 'Emotional Intelligence: Conceptual Evolution and Educational Intervention', complemented by a Master's in Neuropsychology and Education, a Bachelor's in Psychopedagogy, and certifications in Special Education and Ecclesiastical Suitability.

With over 20 years of experience, she has served as a counselor across Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary, and Baccalaureate education levels. She currently teaches in the Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education and the Master's Degree in Management of Educational Institutions. She coordinates Master's Thesis Projects for Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training, and Language Teaching programs.

Her research focuses on integrating technology in education, emotional intelligence applications in pedagogy, and neuropsychological approaches to learning. She actively contributes to educational policy and teacher training initiatives through her academic and administrative roles.
