Professor Maria Rubins is a Professor of Russian and Comparative Literature at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES), University College London. She holds a PhD from Brown University and has held academic positions at institutions including the University of Georgia and Rice University. Her research focuses on Russian literature, comparative literary studies, and poetics, with expertise in Slavic and East European cultural studies.
