Maria Rita Consolaro

Maria Rita Consolaro is a Research Fellow at the Department of Comparative Linguistic and Cultural Studies, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, working on the PRIN project "Narration and Medicine in Latin American Culture" under Professor Margherita Cannavacciuolo's supervision. Her academic journey includes a PhD in Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (XXXIV cycle) from Roma Tre University (2022), a Master's in European, American and Postcolonial Languages and Literatures at Ca' Foscari (2017), and a Bachelor's in Languages, Civilizations and Linguistic Sciences at the same institution (2015).

Scientific recognition includes the Doctoral Thesis Award from the Italian Association of Ibero-American Studies (2022-2023). She also teaches Hispanic-American Language courses at Ca' Foscari University.
