Maria Monserrat Barceló is a Lecturer at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) since 2022, affiliated with the College of Mathematical Sciences and Computer Science in the Department of Computer Languages and Systems. She teaches courses in Software Engineering and Advanced Project Management across multiple campuses and dual-degree programs.
She holds a Degree in Computer Engineering (2020), a Master’s in Intelligent Systems (2021), and a PhD in Information and Communications Technologies (2025) from UIB. Her research focuses on software project management as a member of the MiProSoft research group. She is actively involved in curriculum design and pedagogical innovation.
