Maria Isabel Martinez Serna

María Isabel Martínez Serna is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Organization and Finance at Universidad de Murcia's Faculty of Economics and Business. She earned her PhD in 2002 with a thesis examining the informational content of interest rate term structures.

Her research focuses on financial economics, particularly the analysis of yield curves and their predictive capabilities for economic indicators. She contributes to the Economics and Financial Theory research group exploring quantitative financial methodologies.
