Maria Isabel Cuart Sintes

Dr. Maria Isabel Cuart Sintes is an Associate Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), affiliated with the Department of Applied Pedagogy and Education Psychology within the Faculty of Education. She holds a Doctorate in Education Sciences from UIB, complemented by a Master's in Musicotherapy (ISEP and Vic University) and specialized degrees in Psicopedagogy and Dementias/Alzheimer's disease. Currently, she serves as PTSC in the Educational and Psicopedagogical Guidance Team (EOEP) Palma II and contributes to teaching training programs for elementary school parents' schools and ESO.

Her professional experience includes roles as Professor of CFGM Attention to Persons in Dependence Situation at the Institute of Distance Education in the Balearic Islands (IEDIB, 2020–21), Superior Technical in the Greater People's Area at IMAS (2006–2020), and Technical at the Tripartite Foundation for Training Continue in Employment (1997–2006). She has also conducted psychopedagogical interventions with children facing learning difficulties through the psychopedagogical cabinet SPAE (1998–2004).

Teaching responsibilities include courses on Educational Psychology (Degree in Early Childhood Education) and Specific Learning Difficulties (Degree in Primary Education), with active roles in academic years 2020-25. She oversees multiple course groups across Spanish and Catalan language streams, emphasizing accessibility for mobility students.
