Maria Hupfield is an Assistant Professor and Canada Research Chair cross-appointed to Visual Studies at the University of Toronto. Her work centers on Transdisciplinary Indigenous Arts, Performance Art, and Collaborative Practices, with a focus on Anishinaabe methodology, Indigenous storytelling, and land-based practices.
