Maria Herrojo Ruiz

Maria Herrojo Ruiz is a Reader in Psychology at Goldsmiths, University of London and co-director of the MSc in Computational Cognitive Neuroscience. Her research employs computational approaches to study motor learning, decision-making, and performance anxiety, with applications in neurological and psychiatric conditions. She uses EEG, MEG, and deep brain stimulation methodologies.

Research focuses include:

• Neural oscillations in reward-based learning
• Effects of anxiety on predictive processing
• Interoceptive contributions to motor skill acquisition
