Maria Hernáiz

Maria Hernáiz is an Assistant Professor at Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. She holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. from Universidad Complutense, Madrid. Her postdoctoral research was conducted from 1999–2000. She is affiliated with the Linhardt Research Labs and the Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies (CBIS) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, USA, where she collaborates on interdisciplinary projects.

Her research interests align with biotechnology and biomedical sciences, leveraging interdisciplinary approaches. She contributes to the CBIS, focusing on innovative solutions in molecular biology and drug discovery.
