Maria Giamouzi

Maria Giamouzi is a Lecturer in Logistics and Transportation at Queen Mary University of London’s School of Business and Management. She holds a PhD in Shipping and Finance from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) and an MSc in Operational Research from the London School of Economics (LSE). Previously, she lectured in Applied Econometrics at the University of Bath and held an LSE Fellowship at the LSE. Her research focuses on risk management, behavioral finance, and operations management within the shipping and freight markets, particularly dry bulk sectors. She has contributed to teaching at institutions like UCL, LBS, and ESCP Europe. Maria is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), reflecting her commitment to educational excellence. Her work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications in maritime logistics and financial decision-making.
