Maria Eleni Nikita, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Maryland. Her clinical and research work focuses on pediatric endocrinology, particularly pediatric thyroid cancer, diabetes, disorders of sex development, and transgender health. She leads the Your Trans Care (YTC) specialty program, providing comprehensive care for transgender and gender non-conforming individuals.
